J. Wray & Nephew is a brand building company with a demonstrative hallmark of excellence since 1825.

In December 2012, Gruppo Campari , the sixth largest player in the global spirits industry, completed its acquisition of Lascelles deMercado & Co. Limited, parent company of J. Wray and Nephew. Subsequent to this acquisition, J. Wray and Nephew Ltd. merged with sister company Lascelles Ltd. thereby expanding the line of fine quality products distributed by the company.
The expanded J. Wray and Nephew Limited, a subsidiary of Gruppo Campari, now boasts the largest wine and spirits portfolio in Jamaica comprising a number of owned and represented brands.
J. Wray & Nephew Ltd. is a major agro-industrial enterprise, operating three large estates, namely: Appleton, Holland and New Yarmouth estates.
The Company's principal operations include the cultivation of sugar cane, the manufacture of sugar and the distillation of rum and other spirits; the ageing, blending and bottling of rum; the production of wines and other alcoholic beverages, sales and distribution of the Company’s brands as well all non-owned brands that are represented by the Company in Jamaica.
