World-renowned performers take to the stage for a series of parties and gigs in Montego Bay at Jamaica's Reggae Sumfest, the reggae event of the summer. Styles range from conscious vibes to rough and raunchy.
The event is spread across four electric nights of partying. The whole town comes alive at the legendary first night sound crash on Walter Fletcher Beach, then settles into a typically Caribbean rhythm.
Spend cool mornings in hotels and villas up in the hills and afternoons exploring the beaches and cafés of the town before heading in droves for the venue. And as the sun goes down and the stars come out, the dancing starts. As the morning sun rises over Montego Bay, thousands still party in the open arena of Reggae Sumfest.
The beach party on Sunday features sound systems and top DJs. Past acts at Dancehall night feature the likes of Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Elephant Man, while previous highlights across the two international nights include Damien "Jr. Gong" Marley, Morgan Heritage, Jazmine Sullivan, Jah Cure, Nas and Inner Circle.
