A. E. Parnell & Company was established in August 1946. The fledging company grew from strength to strength, and became one of the largest independent stevedoring business in Kingston.
Approximately 12 years later, in February 1958, A.E. Parnell & Company Limited was incorporated and continued in its core business of loading and unloading ships of various sizes with various types of cargo to and from various ports of the world.
We boast 55 years of cargo handling and labour-management service and remain to be leaders in the stevedoring business.
A. E. Parnell provides full stevedoring services in the cargo handling sector including, containers, roll on roll off, vehicles, breakbulk, bulk, project and heavy lift shipments. The tradition excellence continues.
A.E. Parnell has in the past worked as stevedore for large carriers eg. Harrison Line, Alcoa Steamship and presently Hyundai Merchant Marine, T. M. M., Intermarine, Seafreight Lines, Crowley Caribbean Transport and local industries such as Sugar Industry Authority.
In 2002 we partnered with APM Terminals for the management of the Kingston Container Terminal. Container volume capacity reached 1.8million TEUS.

In the past we have worked with: Tomen and Hitachion coffee processing plant to increase local production for export to Japan and Daito Kogyo for expansion of Ocho Rios Cruise ship terminal.
