Jamaica Freight & Shipping is a full service shipping agency, representing Cosco Shipping Lines, JP Shipping, Miami Freight and Shipping, and Mitsui OSK Lines Limited. Our Logistics management department offers a fucll service brokerage facility and haulage services.
In addition, Jamaica Freight & Shipping is the exclusive port agent for West Indies Alumina Company (WINDALCO) at Port Esquivel, handling all of its’ vessels, and Bound Brook Wharf in Port Antonio. Jamaica Freight also offers Equipment Services, Dry Docking facilities, and an all-inclusive Logistic Center through the following companies:
Jamaica Fruit & Shipping- owns and operates a Dry Docking Facility and Chassis Rental services in Kingston.
Kingston Logistics Center Ltd. - a joint venture company between Jamaica Fruit , Zim and Port Authority -offers Logistical Solutions , Free Zone and Bonded Facilities, stripping and stuffing, container sale, repair and conversion, and reefer maintenance.

Charles Henry Johnston is the present Chairman of Jamaica Fruit & Shipping, and Jamaica Freight & Shipping Co. Ltd following in his Grandfather footsteps, Charles Edward Johnston- founder of Jamaica Fruit and Shipping in 1919 and his Father Ernest Johnston, chairman between 1955 and 1978. He is also Chairman of
Jamaica Producers Group and a member of the board of several major companies, including
Kingston Wharves,
Shipping Association of Jamaica and Jamaica Public Service.
