Kingston Industrial Garage (KIG) has the distinction of being Jamaica’s oldest automotive dealership and the oldest Ford dealership outside of the United States.

 

The company was founded by the Henriques brothers early in the 20th Century and opened its doors in downtown Kingston on 15 January 1908 with the Ford Model-T car as its first offering.

 

Over the years KIG gained recognition as one of the top sellers worldwide of the Ford brand especially through the 1960’s and the 1970’s.

 

The Ford brand remains completely relevant in Jamaica today and offers an extensive range of sedans and SUVs and the popular light commercial pick-up – the Ranger, complete with a 3-year warranty and the 5-year Ford ESP Premium Maintenance Plan.
