Penta Paints Caribbean Limited, formerly ICI Paints (West Indies) Limited, was incorporated in 1959 and acquired in 1979 by ANSA McAL Limited, thereby becoming a member of the ANSA McAL Group. The Company operates its manufacturing plant and main distribution centre from Tumpuna Road South, situated in the eastern borough of Arima. Penta has one other main distribution outlet, Marabella in south Trinidad, and additional company owned Colour Shops in strategic locations spread throughout Trinidad & Tobago.
Penta Paints is committed to manufacturing and supplying quality products; towards this end it acquired and actively maintains the ISO 9001.2004 Quality Management System Certification.

As well, the flagship Penta brand is derived from original ICI technology and developed over many years to meet specific local and regional requirements.
