The American International School of Kingston opened the doors to 27 eager students in September of 1994. American International School of Kingston is a coeducational Pre-Kind ergarten through Grade Twelve, independent day school that offers education based on the 21st Century International educational model, with courses and standards aligned with those found in the United States. All courses in grades 6-10 are linked to either AERO or other US subject-specific standards. AISK uses computer-based adaptive testing called MAP to measure learning throughout the year.
