Mona High School was established in 1979 as a fully government-owned institution when it opened its doors to 600 students. It now has a student population of 1400 and it enrolls students from 1st to 6th form (Grades 7-13).

 

Thousands of bright, ambitious students have passed through our doors, leaving a bit of themselves behind when they head off to that first job, college or university. We are proud of the institution they helped build and continue to support.

 

Our school is staffed with a principal, 2 vice-principals, 68 qualified graduate teachers, a school nurse, 2 guidance counsellors, and over 25 administrative and ancillary staff to care for student needs.

 

The staff consistently works to instill pride of self, school, and country in our students.

 

We have a variety of student development programmes that address the academic, emotional, practical, and personal needs of the students.
