Tarrant High School was established by the Ministry of Education in 1961 as Tarrant Senior School.

Tarrant High School is committed to supporting the mission of the Ministry of Education by combining academic, vocational and co-curricular activities, to create a stimulating learning environment that will enhance the intellectual, social, moral, physical, spiritual and cultural development of all students, so that they will become independent, well rounded individuals with the ability to contribute to nation building.
