iIex Security Services Ltd. commenced operations in April 1992. The company is the brainchild of Major D. John Nelson, a retired officer of the Jamaica Defense Force (J.D.F) with over twenty one (21) years of military service, who realized the need for a security company, which represented the ideals of the military.

 

Milex, as the name suggests, has a distinct military method of operating. The majority of our supervisors and operations staff are ex-military non-commissioned officers, and a number of the guard force are ex-soldiers.

 

From inception, we have insisted upon incorporating a strong sense of military decorum, discipline and tradition with the ranks of its men. Basic principles of military conduct, command and reporting assure a consistent, reliable level of service. The on-going dialogue between Milex’s management and their clients ensures complete customer satisfaction.

 

Over the years, Milex Security Services has grown from a small cadre of officers to its present size. Today, over 300 uniformed and plainclothes officers and expertly trained K9 division are deployed from our offices located at 18 Crescent Road, Kencot, Kingston 10 and area offices throughout the island and provide security services for firms of all sizes.

 

Milex Security Services Ltd offers security services for corporate entities, Residential Communities and industrial concerns, educational institutions, entertainment establishments and a variety of indoors and outdoors concerts, sports and special events.
