Chas. E. Ramson Limited is one of Jamaica's longest standing distribution companies since being founded by Charles Ernest Ramson in 1922. It has since evolved from Charles Ramson operating as a Manufacturer's Representative, to being a company officially distributing several major international brands.

 

The company also owns and distributes its own line of products - Ramson's, since 1986 and Sno White, since 1989, whilst partnering in the production of Foska Oats since 1966. In October 2009, Chas. E. Ramson Ltd. launched Cubbies. The company remains a family owned business, and is presently headed by 3rd generation - John Ramson, as Managing Director.

 

Chas. E. Ramson Limited specializes in serving the Jamaican market and operates out of two conveniently located warehouses in Kingston and Montego Bay. With climate-controlled sections for wines, meats and other perishables, the company is able to ensure that goods are properly stored and their quality maintained. The warehouse at the company's head office on Spanish Town Road in Kingston services the Metropolitan area to as far as Manchester on the south coast and around to St. Mary on the north. The Western Distribution Centre in Montego Bay, established in 1989, handles deliveries on the North Coast to St. Ann and west to the south coasts of St. Elizabeth.

The company has grown from its humble beginnings of two employees to over one hundred and thirty by maintaining a strong complement of highly reputable brands.
