Jamaica, a shining pearl on the Caribbean Sea, is an important country in the region. Despite the vast geographic distance between China and Jamaica, our two peoples have maintained friendly contacts for more than one and a half centuries. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1972, our bilateral relationship has kept a good momentum of development and is currently growing at its best in history, with frequent high-level exchanges and ever deepening cooperation in various fields. The Chinese Embassy is committed to enhancing the China-Jamaica friendly partnership for common development.

 

We hope to make it a window that promotes understanding about China as well as China-Jamaica relations, a tie that links local Chinese community with their motherland, and a bridge that boosts friendship between our two countries and peoples.
