People's Favourite Baking Company, is the home of the world-famous Whitfield brand of buns and pastries and is the registered owner of the trademarked Whitfield Easter Buns, Whitfield Bakery and the People's Favourite brand.
The People’s Favourite Bakery, one of Jamaica’s original country bakeries, was founded by Walter Christie over seventy-five years ago at its present location in Four Paths, Clarendon.
Now, Central Jamaica’s best kept secret is now being revealed to the rest of the world.

William Ferron: Managing Director with direct responsibilities for production and planning. William holds a technical teaching diploma from the College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST), a graduate degree in Construction Management form Florida International University, is certified by Microsoft as a Master Trainer and is also a graduate of the American Institute of Baking (AIB) from which he hold a certification in Baking Science and Technology.
Pauline Ferron: Company Secretary and Director, in charge of finance and administration.
Pauline is a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C. where she studied and worked. In 1978 she returned to Jamaica where she taught at Titchfield High School for 2 years. She then returned to the United States where she worked as office manager for the Schopler Dental Group for the next 5 years.
In 1985 Pauline returned to Jamaica where she worked as a director and general manager of Fergusons Transport Ltd.
In 1987 Pauline along with her husband William acquired the Peoples Favourite Bakery where she has been a director and company secretary since.
