In 1946 a young Canadian Optometrist named Charles Broadbent opened and began practicing his skills at 1 1/4 Duke Street, Kingston.

There began a long and illustrious tradition of Broadbent’s eye care in Jamaica.

Over the years, the business grew and although Charles Broadbent eventually sold it, the name “Broadbent” remained and became synonymous with reliable, thorough, and professional vision care, in short, the best in the business.
