In 2015 the Carnegie Hand Institute and Surgery Center was opened in Whitter Village, Ironshore, Montego Bay, Jamaica.

 

The clinic is an outpatient hand and microsurgery facility and was developed by board-certified Hand and Microsurgeon Dr. Cecil Arid. Comprehensive care will include diagnosis, surgery and rehabilitation of hand and wrist disorders in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

 

Most of the surgical procedures will be done under local or regional anaesthesia. Occasionally intravenous sedation will be utilized.

 

Mission Statement:

 

1. To provide specialized care for patients with disorders or injuries of the hand and wrist.

2. To assist with education and training in surgery of the hand and microsurgery.
