The Nathan Ebanks Foundation® (The NEF) is a registered Jamaican non-profit organization that works for the inclusion, participation, and empowerment of children with disabilities and special education in Jamaica.

 

Established by the parents of a child with disabilities in Jamaican in 2007, the NEF is committed to ensuring that all children with disabilities and special needs in Jamaica receive equal access, necessary resources and the opportunity to realize their full potential.

 

With offices in Kingston, Jamaica, the NEF carries out its work through a team of local and international volunteers. Its programmes include advocacy, public education, training/capacity development, and rehabilitation support to parents, caregivers, policy-makers and others, to help address the problems faced by the children, and to help to improve the level of daily care and education for children.
