Marge Roper Counselling Service provides sexual and reproductive health counselling and services to all persons of reproductive age - 15 to 49 years.
Increasing Jamaicans access to sexual and reproductive health information; especially the vulnerable and under-served or just anyone who requires counselling in relationship, parenting,family life,contraception, and HIV.
This counselling service is managed by trained Counsellors, providing clients with easy access to information. Services are provided via face-to-face, telephone, write-in and social media.
Persons wishing to have a private, confidential session with a Counsellor can make an appointment or visit the office during opening hours.
MRCS maintains a referral system with appropriate agencies within the country. Referrals are made for the following services – antenatal care, receipt of contraceptives not issued at the NFPB, STI/HIV counselling and testing, child welfare, skills training/education, domestic violence, drug abuse, sexual abuse and other services.
