Jamaica Premix Concrete Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Ledgehill International, Inc., a Florida company was started in 1959 to supply the Jamaican construction industry with the highest quality ready mixed concrete and aggregates.
Within a few years the company became one of the leading suppliers in Jamaica and acquired membership in the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and the Incorporated Master Builders Association.
In September 2001, Jamaica Premix Concrete Ltd acquired the assets of Redimix Concrete Limited (RCL), making it the dominant supplier in the Jamaican construction industry.
With the acquisition of RCL, Jamaica Premix Concrete Ltd is the largest purchaser of bulk cement from the island's only producer, Caribbean Cement Company.
