John's Hall Aggregates Limited (JHAL) is a mining company with its mission being to provide a wide range of aggregates at a competitive price to the local market.
JHAL was incorporated under the laws of Jamaica in May 1991, jointly owned by its principals Paul Marchalleck and Derek Blackburn.
The property was acquired in 1991 and comprises ninety nine acres of prime quarrying lands on the outskirts of the second city of Montego Bay. Quarrying rights are granted in renewable five year periods with approvals currently in place for 1,426,000 cubic meters.
The company's offices are located in Worcester, John's Hall Montego Bay, St. James Jamaica, approximately half a mile from mining operations. The quarry is within a short distance from the highway. It accomodates a 60 tonne scale house, tool trailer garages, a primary and secondary crusher, jaw crusher and two cone crushes, backup generators, a number of loaders and excavators, electronic scales along with extensive additional machinery and equipment required for an efficient operation. The premixed concrete operation is fully equipped with concrete mixers, mixer trucks, trailers, and pump trucks.
In addition to its main operations JHAL operates from two depots located in Falmouth and Montego Bay which offer steel, cement and lumber in addition to aggregates, sand, blocks and premixed concrete.
