Camcorp Industrial Limited emerged from a life- long dream of its founder and Managing Director, Richard Campbell of becoming a successful entrepreneur. He honed his skills working with the Grace Kennedy Group of Companies as an Accountant and a Purchasing Manager.
After leaving Grace Kennedy he bought out the shares in a small inactive company V Bert Enterprises Ltd in 1999, which was already incorporated and set to import and do business. He renamed the company Camcorp Industrial Ltd with his sister, Veta Thomas and himself as the two share holders.
The company started focusing on being a reliable importer and supplier of work gloves and safety items. He then brought his other brothers to work for the company and together they have expanded the company to being one of the largest supplier of industrial safety, hardware, hotel, janitorial supplies and food service products company in Jamaica.
Today the Company has 50 employees, with over 35,000 sq. ft. warehouse space with its reliable fleet of trucks and panel vans for delivery to customers all over Jamaica.
With warehouse facilities centrally located at the Sagicor Industrial Park, 218 Marcus Garvey Drive, Kingston 11, Jamaica.
