He is a highly qualified Jamaican Neurosurgeon, Minimally Invasive and Complex Spine Surgeon.

Dr. Patten graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2006 and completed his training as a neurosurgeon at the same university.

In 2019, he completed his Complex Spine Fellowship at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, where he worked under the tutelage of some of the most esteemed spine surgeons in Australasia.
