Nicole Brown is an award winning photographer. She is a recipient of a merit and bronze for the 2013 Jamaica Cultural Development Commission's(JCDC) National Visual Arts Competition . She always loved the visual arts and discovered that photography could be used as a channel to express herself as an artist.
 
She studied photography at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication(CARIMAC) under the tutelage of Howard Moo Young. .
 
 
Brown's work is often comprised of rich and vibrant colours, ranging from the serene tones of blue, to the spirited yellow and red hues that evoke energy for her viewers. She uses her work to provoke thought and discussion among her audience.
 
She has participated in the Liguanea Arts Festival and is a member of the Just Black and White Photography Club . She has worked as a photographer for the Jamaica National Foundation's Resolution Project where she instructed students across the island to use photography as a tool for advocacy.
