When should I have my eyes checked?
Don’t skip your annual eye doctor visit because you think you can see just fine. Eye exams aren’t only for people with poor vision. They're an important way to find eye problems before symptoms show up. Your eye doctor can also catch other problems, like diabetes, early on.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Your glasses or contacts (if you wear them). Ask if you should stop wearing your contacts for a few days before the visit.
  • A list of any health conditions or allergies
  • A list of all medications and supplements you take
  • A list of any specific questions you have about your eye health
  • Your medical insurance information.

How do I set an appointment?
See the eye doctor on these days…
Emergency cases are dealt with on Mondays. You can schedule an appointment to see our Optometrist who is here on Tuesdays between the hours of 2 pm and 6pm. If you would like to see the Ophthalmologist, you will be schedule for Wednesday 2pm – 6pm and every first Thursdays (2pm -6pm).

What is laser eye surgery?

Laser eye surgery is an umbrella term for several eye surgeries used to correct refractive errors (i.e., how your eye focuses light). The most common types of laser eye surgery include LASIK, PRK, LASEK and EpiLASIK.

Each of the four laser eye surgery procedures below uses the same special laser, called an “excimer” laser, to reshape the cornea. This is what corrects vision. But laser eye surgery can vary in the specifics of the procedure, the recovery time, which surgical instruments are used and your patient candidacy. You might be a better candidate for PRK, for instance, than for LASIK.
