The Sports Development Foundation was established in 1995 as an independent body to contribute to the development of our nation through sports.

 

Our sports infrastructures, for example, provide several components such as play-fields, seating, and lighting at community, parish and regional levels. And, multipurpose courts in communities, schools and at sports complexes.

 

Our infrastructure facilities are located island wide.

 

The nation is now reaping some of the rich rewards that come from an investment in sports.

 

These rewards include international recognition, heightened sense of national pride that grows from its accomplishment. And added to our abundance of natural talent, an attractive ambiance for the business of sport, have further enhanced brand Jamaica.
