The annual festival is intended to focus attention on Jamaica's rich oral tradition and rich cultural heritage. Activities will include presentations of papers, panel discussions and performances.

 

There will be a variety of internationally known storytellers in attendance at this year's festival. Some of the Storytellers include; from Kenya- Mshai Mwangola, Nomsa Mdlalose from South Africa, Baba the Storyteller, Jan Blake, Eintou Pearl Springer, Ortiz Salgado among many others.
